What you should know.
How do I bill the report to the patient?
Dermalia is a software and service contract between your practice and us. You pass the report to your patient as part of a self-pay service. Billing the patient follows GOÄ analogous codes (e.g. A612 for video dermatoscopy) or as an IGeL service.
What counts as one scan?
A completed report per patient. If the scan needs to be repeated due to image quality, only the final capture counts. Tests and sample reports are free.
Is there a minimum contract term?
The Practice Flat is cancellable monthly after the first three months. The Hardware Bundle has a 24-month term since the device is included.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
You receive an export of all report PDFs and raw data. We delete your patients' personal data after the legal retention periods expire, at the latest after your release.
We're a very active practice, are there volume discounts?
From 500 scans per month we discuss reduced per-scan terms, from 2,000 scans per month we recommend an individual model. Just get in touch.
