First name, email address, scan ID. That's all we need. No date of birth, no tracking profile. Servers in Germany.

What practices ask us.
- How does the 3D scan become a report?
- The patient is captured on the Isemeco device. The device shows a QR code. Your assistant holds the tablet with the Dermalia web app against the screen and optionally enters first name and email. We pull the raw data server-side, build the report, and send the link to the patient.
- How does the before/after comparison work?
- On the second scan of the same email, the report automatically shows the change on every score axis between captures. We link reports through a hashed email per practice, other practices cannot see this history.
- What happens when patients ask questions about the report?
- Optional: you can enable the question module per practice. Answers stay in clinical language, no diagnosis, no therapy suggestions, those remain your conversation at the next appointment. For emergency keywords we redirect back to your practice.
- Which parts of the report can I switch off?
- Optional: before/after, treatment catalogue, ingredient recommendations, AI report summary, patient questions. Mandatory: hero, audit footer, legal notice, practice CTA. Configurable in the dashboard.
- What patient data does Dermalia store?
- First name, email, scan ID. That's all we need. No birth dates, no tracking profile. Servers in Germany (Vercel + Neon EU). Data processing agreement is signed digitally in the dashboard.
- Which scanners are supported?
- Currently Isemeco D8 and D9. Both are read directly from the manufacturer backend, without kicking the practice login. Additional devices are onboarded with the respective pilot practices.
